RDUCon 2008

The model contest was hosted by IPMS Eagle Squadron and the venue was the Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, North Carolina. The event was held in a large main room, with vendors dotting the outer sections of the room. There was also a vendor hall which all contestants would pass through from registration on the way to the main room. It was wide and roomy and offered plenty of space to move around. The contest itself was well attended with 89 entrants and 445 models. If you got hungry, there was a Subway right down on the first floor of the building. Roy Johnson summed up the contest weekend pretty well in his article which will appear in this month’s newsletter. Don’t miss it!
