Club Information and Meetings |
Who are we? We are the Coastal Carolina Modelers Association, or in IPMS language IPMS/Coastal Carolina Modelers. We are a scale model club from the Charleston-Summerville area. Our membership is made up entirely of people from the local community. We are an IPMS chartered chapter and an AMPS affiliate. Our membership consists of former and current military from all branches of service, business professionals, truck drivers, manufacturing and fabricating specialists, professional model kit makers, retirees and junior modelers. What do we do? We build models! But that's just the beginning. We also work with youth groups such as AWANA Clubs. Many of our models have been featured in national and international publications. We have produced IPMS National and Regional winners, as well as AMPS Gold, Silver and Bronze medal winners. Our motto is "Keep Building and Just Have Fun!" Our meetings are held the second Saturday of every month at 119 Bramwell Drive in Summerville. Start time is 10:00 am. What do we do? Have fun!
