Welcome to the home of the Coastal Carolina Modelers Association. We are an IPMS chartered chapter and an AMPS affiliate chapter.

The September Meeting: We had 15 people at the September meeting. We also had lots of kits and three finished project on display. Dave Corvino won the model of the month award for two of his models which tied in the voting. The first was an original Aurora Mummy kit and the second was an Italeri Pak 40 gun. George Paroda also brought along a nearly finished model of an M-8 armored vehicle. Scott Stevens had his Boddenplatte project with him and he showed of his hand-finished zimmeritt work on his 1:72 scale armor. He said he used the Chris Thomas method. Excellent work Scott. We discussed the Build Night schedule. The next Build Night will be September 30. The SCMA Contest is on October 18 at Cokesbury Methodist Church on Montague Avenue. Further details are available in the newsletter. We've been invited to display our models at a Fall Fest on September 27th from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Marion and Mouse have all the details.
